Okay, so it's not a proper 3-Series BMW, but it is powered by the E46 M3's naturally aspirated, 3.2-liter, 333hp S54 powerplant and it weighs considerably less than the M3, so as far as we're concerned, it counts.
What Wikipedia calls, "a Shooting-brake styled high-performance automobile," the BMW M-Coupe is one our favorite cars produced by the German automaker and seems right at home amongst our other ThreeSeriesThursday features. Wouldn't you agree? // [comment]

This car is gorgeous, and a perfect representation of a Shooting Brake.
ReplyDeleteIn BMW code names the Z3 was classified as E36/7 IIRC so it is technically a 3 series. Love the Z3 M Coupe
ReplyDeleteI like Z3M 'Breadvans' but that one looks bloody awful!
ReplyDeleteA proper German car restyled by some Orange-County douchebag.
Surely our friends at ColdTrackDays could have found a good picture of an unmolested original?
