GYMKHANA 3 VIDEO? // KEN BLOCK TERRORIZES TOP GEAR

Apparently the gentlemen at Top Gear decided to cross the pond, hoping to catch the illusive rally driver Ken Block in the wild. Courtesy of 0-60 Magazine and an unknown YouTube bootlegger, here is a bit from Top Gear S:13 E:3 featuring Ken Block and Ricky Carmichael in what some might call Block's Gymkhana 3 video. Oh yea, Mr. Nguyen, don’t click on this one ;) // [comment]

PART TWO // KEN BLOCK'S GYMKHANA SEQUEL

It goes without saying that Ken Block has skill behind the wheel. The first installment in his 'Gymkhana Practice' video series, dare we call it a series, was a 600bhp infused, tire smoking, pylon grazing ride through some abandoned warehouse and adjacent parking lot. Now, Block intends to do it al over again, this time with a bit more power and an all new ride. The video featured above is the second teaser to hit the interwebs and showcases the build of Block's new weapon of choice. According to the guys at 0-60 Magazine, Block's new 2009 Subaru Impreza STI was build by Crawford Performance and took 43 days and over 800 man hours to build. Stay tuned for the next installment... // [comment]

KEN BLOCK // AT IT AGAIN...

Join Ken Block and Alex Gelsomino as they run the ‘Concord Pond’ stage of the 2008 New England Forest Rally. The way they put together the picture-in-picture video, with the stage GPS on the left and pace notes on the right, makes for some of the best in-car rally footage we have seen this season. Watch as Block and navigator Gelsomino go on to tie last year's stage record in their 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, just another example of Ken Blocks skill behind the wheel... KEN BLOCK's 530WHP STI // GYMKHANA VIDEO

Have we mentioned how much we like AWD? Maybe it is the ever present foul weather here in the PNW, or maybe it’s because of that ride in a 500bhp first-gen Audi S4... Hmmm. Well anyhow, when we see videos like this, it just reaffirms our belief that AWD supremacy is very much alive and well (not to mention this). So, without further ado, check out Rally America driver Ken Block and his 530whp STi Impreza practicing a bit of Gymkhana at an undisclosed location. Enjoy // 11.13.2008
