TImo Glock was at the wheel of the VR-01 this afternoon, however according to our sources, Lucas di Grassi will have his first go in the car come tomorrow.
Following tomorrow's test, Virgin Racing will join the rest of the F1 field at Jerez next Wednesday for the second winter test session.
Additionally, there are rumors that Alvaro Parente has lost his place as the team’s third driver after a sponsorship deal fell through. That would leave Luiz Razia as the team’s only reserve driver.
