Shelby GT500KR // Dyno Time

The King of the Road. A proper name for a car that, during it’s time, was a powerhouse, hungry for Camaro’s and spitting out horsepower. Today’s incarnation is much the same, though lacking the hunger for Camaro’s (that may soon change), it is however the same fuel thirsty horsepower monster it was 40 years ago. 5.0 Magazine just laid the GT500KR on the dyno to make sure the ‘King of the Road’ had enough bite to accompany all its bark. 509bhp on the first run seemed enough to prove its worth. We like it, not sure if its worth the $80,000 price tag though. You decide // 07.16.2008
