RACE RESULTS // CROWN ROYAL 200 @ THE GLEN

Last weekend, Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas collected their seventh win of the 2010 season, when the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series visited Watkins Glen International for the second time this year. Driving the #01 Chip Ganassi Racing BMW Riley, Pruett and Rojas ran from pole to podium, finishing ahead of Max Angelelli and Ricky Taylor in the #10 SunTrust Racing Ford Dallara. Finishing third in the Daytona Prototype (DP) class was Jon Fogarty and Alex Gurney in the #99 GAINSCO Chevrolet Riley.

In the Grand Touring (GT) class, James Gue and Leh Keen drove the #41 Dempsey Racing Mazda RX-8 to its first victory of 2010, finishing ahead of Jonathan Bomarito and Sylvain Tremblay in the #70 SpeedSource Mazda RX-8. Finishing third in the GT class was the #07 Banner Racing Corvette of John Edwards Scott Russell.

QUALIFYING RESULTS // CROWN ROYAL 200 @ THE GLEN

Qualifying for the tenth round of the 2010 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series, the Crown Royal 200 at The Glen, took place yesterday afternoon at the picturesque Watkins Glen International race track in upstate New York. Qualifying on pole in the Daytona Prototype (DP) class was the #01 Chip Ganassi Racing BMW Riley of Pruett and Rojas. Qualifying second was the #61 AIM Autosport Ford Riley of Frisselle and Wilkins, while Angelelli and Taylor qualified third in the #10 SunTrust Racing Ford Dallara.

In the Grand Touring (GT) class, Bomarito and Tremblay secured pole position for the #70 SpeedSource Mazda RX-8, while Davis and Liddell qualified second in the #57 Stevenson Motorsports Camaro GT.R. Qualifying third was Edwards and Russell in the #07 Banner Racing Corvette, some 0.067 seconds off the paces of the Camaro.

GRAND-AM // NJMP 250 PRESENTED BY CROWN ROYAL

ColdTrackDays correspondent, Curtis Creager, spent last weekend at the New Jersey Motorsports Park for the ninth round of the 2010 GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series, the NJMP 250 Presented by Crown Royal.

In the Daytona Prototype (DP) class, Jon Fogarty and Alex Gurney brought the #99 GAINSCO Chevrolet Riley its first win of the 2010 season, beating Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas who finished second in the Chip Ganassi Racing BMW Riley. In the Grand Touring (GT) class, Jonathan Bomarito and Sylvain Tremblay collected their second win of the season, crossing the line ahead of Adam Christodoulou and John Edwards in the second of three SpeedSource Mazda RX-8s.

GRAND-AM // BRUMOS PORSCHE 250 @ DAYTONA

Over the weekend, the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series held its ninth round of competition, the Brumos Porsche 250 at the Daytona International Speedway. This was the second time the GRAND-AM series has visited the infamous Florida speedway this season, and ColdTrackDays correspondent, Curtis Creager, was lucky enough to be trackside all weekend.
