A few staff members from ColdTrackDays were planning to cover the 2009 Chinese Grand Prix, initially scheduled for mid-October, 2009. But with the release of a new Formula One schedule, moving the Chinese GP to mid-April, it looks like China is out...
No need to worry however, as the 2009 CTD calendar is quickly filling up. The SOVREN 'Defrost' in April is a must, followed shortly thereafter by the IRL/ALMS - Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in mid-April. May brings a bit of rally racing to the NW, and CTD will be at the 2009 Oregon Trail Rally to capture all the action. In June, we head back to Portland for the 2009 Rose Cup, where the SCCA Trans-Am class will be the marque. For early July, expect to see a few ColdTrackDays 'Track Girls' manning our booth at the 21st annual SOVREN Pacific Northwest Historics. Mid-July brings the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb and CTD will be live on the mountain, to capture the 'race to the clouds.' A handful of other local and national events are on the calendar as well, but first we have a question for you;
To replace our Chinese Grand Prix coverage, what late season F1 race should the CTD staff cover?
Singapore - September 27th?
Japan - October 4th?
Brazil - October 18th?
Decisions, decisions... Post your response here // 12.19.2008

Singapore at night would be nice, but then Suzuka is such an awesome track and it'll be back to Fuji next year. How about both since it's basically just a short hop over from Singapore to Japan. If it's one of the 3, I'll vote for Singapore at night.
ReplyDeleteId be glad in having you guys here in Brazil.

shame about china... My vote is for Shanghai under the lights!
