PROMO TIME // HYUNDAI GENESIS COUPE

The staff at ColdTrackDays is a bit torn in regards to the forthcoming Hyundai Genesis. On the one hand, we are excited about an entry level, rear drive coupe. On the other hand, we are a bit skeptical of what Hyundai produces. Not that Hyundai can’t produce a reliable, well performing, reasonably priced rear drive coupe, it’s just that they are an unknown quantity in that market. Sure, they make affordable bits of transportation, high fuel economy, 100k warranties and all that, but there is no history to back up the brand. Take Nissan for instance. The Datsun label has been around for years, known for its affordable nature and respectable sports cars (510, 2440sx, 300zx, etc...). Hyundai on the other hand is known for this, and that is something we are not fond of. So, with our opinions aside, check out this recently released promo video, direct from the gentlemen in Korea.
