With time running out before the first scheduled A1GP race of the 2009-2010 season, there is rumour and uncertainty aplenty surrounding the series. The FIA are demanding that the cars, which at present are still in the UK, be updated to 2010 side intrusion safety standards before they are flown to Australia. Counter sources suggest that this work does not have to be completed immediately and an 'end of the year' deadline is more appropriate.
