Ferrari unveiled their 2009 chassis to the world this afternoon, with a number of changes having been made to comply with the FIA’s 2009 guidelines. A larger front wing and a much narrower rear spoiler as well as the adoption of KERS and the usage of slicks, are but a few of the changes expected for the 2009 season.
Ferrari has decided to name their new chassis the F60, stepping away from their previous numbering system which would have labeled the new chassis F2009. The reason: Ferrari is celebrating their 60th year in Formula One, and has decided to commemorate the occasion with this uniquely numbered chassis.
