Remember the Ferrari California? You know, the folding hard-top, 460bhp front engine, Italian roadster, filling a much needed gap in Ferrari’s lineup. Well, if you had your heart set on one, thinking you might trade in the ‘ol GT3, pick up a California and throw the top down, we’ve got bad news for you. Even if you had the spare $190,000 in cash, you would still be out of luck, and we mean S.O.L. The Ferrari California is sold out until 2011. That’s quite the wait, and your guess is as good as ours, as to why the Cali model has done so well. It’s not like the market isn’t flooded with auto-folding hardtops, but then again, none have a prancing horse on the grill, and certainly none look as sweet. Hell, we'll wait it our, put us down, one California, red with black leather, manual transmission (ed note- do they make those anymore? Damn paddle shifters!), late 2011 delivery, no rush // 10.05.2008
