JAPANESE GP QUALIFYING // SURPRISE, SURPRISE

Qualifying just finished up for the Japanese GP and Lewis Hamilton is once again sitting in pole position. After three rounds of qualifying, the first two of which Hamilton kept himself just within reach, laying down the second and third fastest times, it was not until the late stages of Q3 that he turned it on, snatching the pole from Kimi Raikkonen. A solid spot for the current Championship points leader to be in, and certainly a position he is familiar with. Having won last years Japanese GP at Fuji, Hamilton’s chances to score a second victory look good. With mild weather forecasted for the remainder of the weekend (rare for this time of year), a dry track is expected heading into Sunday’s race.
