BTCC // CHILTON & MACDOWALL FASTEST @ SNETTERTON TESTToday saw the majority of Dunlop MSA British Touring Car teams take to the Snetterton race circuit for a whole day of testing ahead of the next round of the championship. With the Norfolk circuit playing host to the series on August 7th/8th teams were faced with tricky conditions throughout the day as rain hit the area.

Fastest in the morning session and beginning to show his true potential was RML Chevrolet Cruze driver Alex MacDowall with a time that would leave him second quickest when both sessions times were combined. BTCC // CHILTON & MACDOWALL FASTEST @ SNETTERTON TEST16 cars took part in the morning session but with rain hitting the circuit for the afternoon some teams didn’t venture out gauging the conditions as just too bad. It was left to Tom Chilton in the Team AON LPG powered Ford to set the afternoon pace as the circuit began to dry. Chilton wound up over second quicker than his nearest rival as the Focus continued its fine 2010 form.

Notable by their absence were Team Honda who elected to miss the test.
