NEWS // JACQUES VILLENEUVE TO RACE F1 IN 2011?

Jacques Villeneuve, former F1 World Champion and son of the legendary Gilles Villeneuve, is looking to return to Formula One for the 2011 season. Following a four year absences from the sport, Villeneuve, who is now 39 years old, hopes to find a seat for next season, but said that if nothing came to fruition, that he would give up any hope of racing in Formula One again. The French Canadian driver, who finished second to Damon Hill in his rookie season and claimed the World Championship the following year (1997), is still the most successful North American F1 driver, and had been linked to a number of 2010 F1 upstarts, to include Stefan GP and USF1.
