MOTO GP // PEDROSA WINS ITALIAN GP @ MUGELLO

On Sunday, Spanish rider Dani Pedrosa collected his first MotoGP victory of 2010 at the Mugello Circuit in Italy. Pedrosa, who finished more than four seconds ahead of second place Jorge Lorenzo, took an early lead and never looked back. Lorenzo, who had won the last two races for Yamaha, was unable to catch the young Spaniard who repeatedly broke the lap record, lapping the 3.25 mile circuit close to his qualifying speed. Pedrosa's teammate, Andrea Dovizioso, finished third after a hard fought battle with Lorenzo early in the race, while Casey Stoner finished fourth ahead of Marco Melandri.
