NEWS // ALFA ROMEO UNVILS TZ3 CORSA

Designed by the good folks at Zagato Milano, Alfa Romeo unveiled their TZ3 Corsa at the Villa D'Este concours earlier today. Powered by the Alfa 8C Competizione's 4.7-liter, 450hp V8, the TZ3 is a throwback to its 60s-era predecessors, the TZ1 and TZ2. And, like the originals, the TZ3 is a legitimate racing car, although we are uncertain what series it will be entered in.

Featuring a tube frame and carbon-fiber chassis, the Alfa Romeo TZ3 Corsa was, according to Zagato, commissioned by German collector Martin Kapp and will be a part of a celebration recognizing 100 years of racing from Scuderia Ferrari, Alfa Corse, Autodelta, and Scuderia Zagato.

  1. Great looking car. I just have one problem with it: the rear. It doesn't look good and this shape creates way more drag than necessary. If it was shaped more like a 911 it would look and perform much better imho.

  2. Rear shape (and whole shape) clearly taken from original TZ1. I like
