While watching the Bahrain Grand Prix this weekend, my friend Ted Anthony Jr. and I were discussing the lack of F1 racing here in the states. Noting that most US racing circuits are somewhat removed from, well, civilization, and do not bode well for the F1 circus, we agreed that Laguna Seca would be the best venue for Formula One if it were to return to the United States.
So with that said, check out this footage from the 33rd Monterey Historic Automobile Races, where the Toyota TF106 driven by Ricardo Zonta breaks the Laguna Seca lap record // [comment]
