The Silverstone Six Hours of 1979, a round of the FIA World Manufacturers Championship was notable for cars such as the Essex liveried Porsche 936-78 of Brian Redman and Jochan Mass along with the class B Lancia Beta Monte Carlo of Riccardo Patrese and Walter Rohrl.
In the days of film cameras and only a select few motorsport photographers, an early Jeff Bloxham shot graces the front cover, of which we very much approve.
