With again the 'official' presence of BMW Team Italy once more Roal Motorsport is a major player in the up and coming tin top championship. Roal who ran Alessandro Zanardi and Sergio Hernandez in the 2009 WTCC see success in the Superstar series as their major goal for 2010. Team Principal and former touring car ace Roberto Ravaglia commented "2009 has been a positive year for us: we obtained two victories in WTCC with Zanardi and Hernandez while, in Superstars, Gianni Morbidelli awarded us the Italian and the International title thanks to six victories. The championship promoted by FG Sport is definitely growing and this will be our main commitment: as BMW Team Italy we will be present with four M3 coupè E92's and the objective will be to stay at the top."

The Superstar Series will again have major European media exposure this season thanks to a deal with "Motors TV" which should see all rounds broadcast on the specialist satellite channel right across Europe.
