Fernandez, who won the ALMS LMP2 title last year, confirmed he is working on a plan for 2010, which, assuming the deal with Aston Martin were to go through, would see Fernandez entered into the most popular ALMS races at Sebring, Long Beach and Road Atlanta's Petit Le Mans, as well as the 24 Hours of Le Mans.In a conversation with Autopost, Fernandez said: "I'm talking to Aston, but right now there's still a way to go to make it happen. I hope we can finalise it by the end of the month."
And while nothing has been confirmed as of yet, the idea of a factory-backed Aston Martin LMP1 competing on US soil is rumor we are willing to propagate...
