A report from German motorsport magazine Auto Motor Und Sport today suggests that Mercedes-Benz are set to buy into Brawn GP. Meanwhile yesterday saw thousands of locals turn out in Brawn GP's hometown of Brackley UK as the former Honda team paraded through the streets on an open top bus. Notable by his absence however was World Champion Jenson Button (below). Ross Brawn would not be drawn on Jenson's future but does remain quietly confident that the team maybe able keep hold of him for 2010.
The whole team turned out to thank the local community for all their support during the period of uncertainty following Honda's withdrawal from F1 at the end of last year.
