NEWS // KOBAYASHI TO DRIVE FOR TOYOTA IN 2010?

Kamui Kobayashi could well be set to take up a permanent drive for Toyota in Formula One next year, after team president John Howett commented that he has been mightily impressed with the Japanese youngster.

With two F1 outings, which have obviously made an extremely good impression with all the team, it looks likely that the man from Hyogo will return next year with a full time race contract.

The former GP2 driver who collected the championship in the Asian version of the series and was recently referred to by Jenson Button as "Absolutely Crazy" has certainly ruffled a few feathers with his "Never Say Die" attitude, while at the same time producing very strong overall performances... Howlett told Autosport.com ""I am very impressed. What we like is his real fighting spirit He is not intimidated by anybody. It's very positive." "It is a lesson definitely that sometimes we should all be braver in our driver choices and not go for the safer risk-hedged decision."

Toyota will discuss their 2010 driver line up options further on November 14th.
