The original BBC documentary was very biased towards Shelby. The inference was that Ferrari was a large manufacturer and Shelby a backstreet garage, largely glossing over the fact that Shelby was funded by Ford.
ReplyDeleteAlso the story makes no mention of the Ferrari 250LM which would have competed with the Cobra in 1964 if it had been homologated as a GT as Ferrari intended.
