NEWS // ROSBERG TO LEAVE AT&T WILLIAMS

Nico Rosberg will start his final race for the Williams F1 Team at Abu Dhabi this Sunday. The talented young German has announced that he will be leaving the Didcot based team but wouldn't be drawn on where his future lies for next season. Rosberg commented at Ab Dhabi “It's my last race with Williams, four or five years with the only team I have worked with and it's going to be quite strange to leave". He added “They have really supported my career, so it's a ‘thank you' for them.” He went on to say with regard to his decision “I would like to try to get into a car where there would be a very good chance of winning. “There is no reason they (Williams) can't be as good next year as this year and remain close to the top, but I am not sure they can win races.”

Rosberg's replacement is rumoured to be Brawn's Rubens Barrichello who has conducted talks with Williams for 2010.
