NEWS // FORD RACING UNVEILS THEIR 2010 COBRA JET

Ford Racing has decided to continue the Cobra Jet program for the 2010 model year and unveiled their latest creation at Milan Dragway in Michigan early this month. 1. I'm sorry but this car looks like a throw-back to a hideous past when Mustang's were big-bloated beasts that were scary to toss around. Why can't we get the Euro-market Fords which are truly forward thinking, modern designs that America so desperately needs?

  2. @Colin - Unfortunately, I must disagree entirely. The 2010 Mustang is a great looking car, in my opinion, and the CJ incarnation is nothing more than a hulked out, fast-in-a-straight-line version of the car. Which is exactly what it is supposed to be. The Shelby GT500 on the other hand, a car that is certainly not afraid of a hairpin, is, again in my opinion, exactly the kind of car Americans want. Not need, want. The Euro-market Fords, while certainly impressive in their own right, are not the kind of cars Americans want. While I agree they are what we need, to some extent, they are, for better or worse, not the cars we want. And don't use the 'Americans need to get off this huge car and massive fuel consumption kick,' because the Porsche Cayenne and BMW M5 are both rather thirsty...

Anyway, I like he 2010 CJ, but I like drag racing, and Mustangs, so who am I to talk :P
