WHAT WE'RE READING // 0-60 MAGAZINE

I picked up the most recent issue of 0-60 after stopping for oil just outside of Snohomish the other night. I wasn't expecting to see this publication gracing the shelves of a small town gas station, but felt relieved, as my choices would have otherwise been limited to Truck Trader and a rather dated issue of Import Tuner.

Having made contact with 0-60 editor, Brian Scotto, I was more then happy to shell out the $5.99 cover price to have a look at his article chronicling the cross country road trip he and Formula D competitor, Vaughn Gitten Jr., took a few weeks back... [read more]

In addition to Scotto's road trip, this issue of 0-60 featured a piece by Matt Tuccillo, who took a trip to 'The Tail of the Dragon' in North Carolina's Great Smoky Mountains National Park, to challenge a local reader in the newly released 370Z. A great bit of editorial accompanied by some killer shots of Nissan's new Z car...

Motorsport photographer, Max Earey, reviews some of the 'must haves' for anyone looking to capture the action as well as he does. Included in his list are a variety of lenses, a few camera bodies, a MacBook Pro and the massive Nikon 600mm F4 II AF-S

Scotto's road trip culminated when Vaughn Gitten Jr. broke the world record for longest drift, sliding his 2010 Ford Mustang around a pylon until his tires were ready to give.

A great magazine for automotive and motorsport enthusiasts alike, be sure and check out 0-60's website for daily updates and plenty of 'fast cars.'

  1. I've loved 0-60 mag ever since it came out. Best magazine in the category by far. I see the old stalwarts trying to mix it up a bit and capture some of what makes 0-60 so fresh, but they've a long way to go.

I just hope they survive the implosion in the magazine business going on right now. They certainly deserve to.
