YOUNG GEORGE LUCAS // A MOTORSPORT FAN?

In a galaxy far, far away, a young man by the name of George Lucas (now synonymous with six part sci-fi epics and aging treasure hunters), was an up and coming USC film school student looking to break into the film industry. Featured above, is Lucas’ eight minute short film chronicling the race efforts of none other than Peter Brock and his Lotus 23, at Willow Springs Raceway in Southern California. It appears Lucas's skills behind the lens may have developed, in part, because of a fascination with auto racing? Maybe? Video comes courtesy of Gridcrasher. Enjoy // 12.04.2008
