Our friends at M-Cars of Seattle have come across quite the find. Now for sale on consignment, is this one of a kind 1971 BMW 2002 race car. Fully built for SCCA/Conference/Vintage competition, this particular 2002 features a four speed gearbox and 4:11 geared rear end complete with LSD. Fully adjustable ride height via Bilstein struts and Bilstein shocks, adjustable caster and camber as well as Delron bushings both front and back. An 8-point roll cage and 5-point harness keep you safe, while a set of Momo race seats keep you in the proper driving position. The 2.0-liter engine has remained stock, save for a set of dual Webber carbs, double seal pistons and a shimmed oil pan for increased oil pressure. A lightened flywheel and heavy duty clutch take care of gear changes and the car comes equipped with 3 sets of Panasport racing wheels wrapped in 215/50/13 BFG R1’s. Sporting a vintage paint scheme and a very ‘ColdTrackDays’ sort of appeal (note the CTD.com sticker on the window), we are certain this one wont last long.
