MUSTANGS ON TOP // KONI CHALLENGE & GT4

The final race of the Koni Challenge here in the states took place at Alton, VA, where Joe Foster and Scott Maxwell landed a fifth-place finish. Though no podium, it was enough to claim an overall victory for them and their Ford Mustang in the Koni Challenge series. While Foster and Maxwell were busy stateside collecting points, Eric de Doncker took home his second championship win in the GT4 European Cup. Both teams campaigned race prepped Mustangs, with Foster and Maxwell behind the wheel of a FR500C and Doncker in his FR500GT4. Ford’s victory comes as no surprise (at least not to us), as the FoMoCo has a lengthy history of supporting motorsport efforts, with well prepped automobiles and factory backed assistance.
