24HRS OF BMW // M3 AT LE MANS 2009?

Assuming BMW can get their 2009 M3 properly modified to meet changes in FIA regulations for the 2010 season, expect to see a BMW entry in the 2010 24hrs of Le Mans. Looking to compete with the likes of the generals Corvette C6R and a full field of Porsche's and other GT class vehicles, the V8 powered M3 (currently sanctioned for American Le Mans GT2S class racing) would need to be dialed down for the tighter FIA regulations. Once on an FIA approved list, BMW’s M3 would then be subject to any needed modifications the FIA saw fit. Worth it? Or should the Bavarian’s just keep to this side of the pond? We vote 24hrs.
