The ColdTrackDays staff rolled into Sorrento early Monday morning, spent the better part of the afternoon wandering the streets of this beautiful coastal Italian tourist trap, ate dinner and sacked out early. The following day, looking to take a break from the crowds, we boarded a 100ft speedboat and headed West, off the coast, and out to the Island of Capri. If you are unfamiliar with Capri, this is where the Romans fled to when Mt. Vesuvius erupted in 79 B.C., and is also the former home of Emperor Tiberius. A forty minute boat ride left us on the shores of Capri, an island with limited automotive access, steep hills and roads, and incredible views. What few cars we did see were either roofless, or meticulously maintained. Click through to our photo gallery for a few shots from Capri. Enjoy // 09.10.2008
