We are all aware of the benefits a proper wing mounted to your decklid can provide. Additional downforce, stability in the corner, aesthetic appeal. There is somewhat of a tradeoff however, as additional downforce creates drag, reducing an automobiles top speed. Supercars like the Bugatti Veyron, utilize adjustable active aerodynamics, adding downforce when necessary, and creating a slippery wet profile when not. So how can that technology benefit us? Enter AeroMotions. Their two piece carbon fiber wing, each section moving independently of the other, is connected to a computer monitoring system, constantly updating wing position as you accelerate, brake, turn in and stop. Effectively giving you the right amount of downforce, on the right side of the vehicles, when you need it most.
