Lotus Eagle // First Images

So here it is, after a long wait and a few too many "spy" shots, the Lotus Eagle has appeared. Scheduled for unveiling at the London Auto Show on July 22nd, the new Lotus features a 2+2 design, a 3.5 liter V6 worth a solid 275bhp, and will also be available as a two seater as well. Incorporating design cues from the Elise and the Exige, and with the Lotus press release claiming it to be "faster round 'the ring' then the Elise and more stable at speed then the Exige" the Eagle takes a little from both, offering 50/50 wait distribution and a bit more horsepower. The Lotus Eagle will go on sale come Spring of 2009 // 07.15.2008
