VIDEO // PASTRANA'S RECORD RUN UP MT. WASHINGTON

Last week we reported on Travis Pastrana's record run up the 149-year-old Mt. Washington Auto Road. At the wheel of a 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI prepared by Vermont SportsCar, the four-time Rally America National Champion managed an average speed of nearly 72mph on his way to the summit. Pastrana's official time of 6 minutes 20.47 seconds is more than 20 seconds faster than the previous record.
