Dubbed the GP2/11, the new car is designed and built by Italian chassis manufacturer Dallara. The car will be used exclusively by all of the GP2 teams for the next three seasons. Notable changes include a larger diffuser, a narrower rear wing, a raked front nose and anvil-shaped engine cover, and, like Formula One, the new GP2 car will switch from Bridgestone rubber to new Pirelli compounds. The car will see its first race early next year in the GP2 Asia Series.
