Having made it's debut at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, the Citroën Survolt Concept isn't just a French day dream, it's now a reality. Powered by a pair of electric motors that produce 300hp from zero to 5,000 rpm, the Survolt is scheduled to hit the track at the Le Mans Classic on July 10th. With a full tube frame chassis wrapped in carbon fiber and a pair of lithium ion battery packs that weigh just 300 pounds each (but offer 31 kilowatts of energy storage), the Survolt is capable of running to 60mph in under five seconds and can travel more than 124 miles per charge.
