EYE CANDY // 2004 FERRARI 575 GTC

EYE CANDY // 2004 FERRARI 575 GTCPowered by a 6.0-liter V12 that produced 605hp @ 6000 rpm, the 2004 Ferrari 575 GTC was developed by Ferrari specifically for the FIA GT and Grand-Am championships. It's development was prompted by the success of privately entered 550 Maranellos in international GT racing, to include a historic class win in the 2003 24 Hours of Le Mans. Essentially a worked over 575M Maranello, Ferrari added aero, additional horsepower and all the safety equipment required by the FIA and dubbed the car the 575 GTC. And while it's racing success was rather limited (two wins in two years) it is, in our opinion, one of the most attractive racing cars built by the gentlemen in Maranello // [comment]

  1. This is one of my favorite GT racing cars ever. Wasn't it developed by Prodrive not the factory?

  2. Michelotto assembled the 575 chassis, ProDrive did the 550 flavor.
