24 HOURS OF LE MANS // PEUGEOT ON POLE AFTER Q1

Peugeot has managed to claim the top four positions after the first round of qualifying for this years 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Peugeot Sport Total 908 HDi of Bourdais, Lamy and Pagenaud took the provisional pole, while the Team Peugeot Total 908 HDi of Wurz, Gene and Davidson finished the day in P2.

The second Team Peugeot Total 908 HDi finished third, while Audi Sport North America, whose new R15 TDI Plus made its Le Mans debut this afternoon, finished the day fifth overall. And while Audi's R15 managed to lap the Circuit de la Sarthe in 3:23.578, they were more than two seconds off the pace of the fourth and final Peugeot, the Team ORECA Matmut 908 HDi of Panis, Lapierre and Duval who finished fourth.
