Three time grand prix winner and current Ferrari F1 team reserve driver, Giancarlo Fisichella, will make his Le Mans 24 Hours debut next month. Following the announcement, Fisichella said: "This will be my first 24 Hours and I'm looking forward to what will be a new challenge."
Alesi, who drove a Schuppan Porsche 962C at the 1989 Le Mans 24 Hours, will be returning to the Circuit de la Sarthe after a 21 year absence.
Additionally, the two Pescarolo Sport LMP1 entries have withdrawn as expected, which means the German KSM team gains an entry for its Judd powered Lola LMP2.
