Following a 1:43.2 lap of the Buttonwillow Raceway Park during last weeks opening round of the 2010 Redline TIme Attack Series, it appears the Sierra-Sierra Enterprises (SSE) Time Attack EVO 8 is the fastest car currently competing in the United States, and quite possibly the world.
Powered by a Cosworth 2.2L 4G63, the SSE EVO 8 features a Garrett GT35R turbo, six piston Brembo Monoblocks, Dynamic Suspension shocks with Eibach ERS springs, a Peterson dry sump tank and roughly 450whp at 14.5psi.
