2010 MALAYSIAN GRAND PRIX // RACE RESULTS

It's about time! After two pole positions and two mechanical failures, Sebastian Vettel finally collected his first race win of 2010. Falling into third at the start, Nico Rosberg never really had anything to worry about and brought Mercedes GP their first podium finish of 2010. Finishing fourth overall was Robert Kubica in the Renault R30, who, after a strong start, managed to hold off Adrian Sutil in the Force-India Mercedes. Finishing sixth was Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren-Mercedes MP4-24. Hamilton, who started 20th, worked his way through the field, but was unable to pass Sutil who seemed to have an equally matched car. Felipe Massa, at the wheel of Ferrari's F10, finished the day in seventh, some 27 seconds ahead of Australian GP winner, Jenson Button. Massa now leads the World Championship with 39 points.
