After some rather disheartening comments were posted on this weeks Miata Monday feature, I decided to do a bit of research and figure out not only who took the photo (Mike), but who owned the car... [read more]
After a quick search on Facebook, I soon discovered the Miata is owned by Nick Cahill, a NorCal roadster enthusiast hell bent on going fast and looking good.
Cahill, who we hope will supply us with some additional information regarding his car, sent me this video of his 250whp NA Miata, as he and a friend lap the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca during a track day last month.
So while we wait for additional info on Cahill's Miata, enjoy the video and please, put down the Hatorade ;)

"sent me this video of his 250whp NA Miata"
ReplyDeleteSounds NA with spool and a blow off valve...hmmm
@Anonymous: Do a bit of research before posting your comments...
ReplyDelete"Now in its third generation, the MX5's first generation, the NA, sold over 400,000 units from 1989 to 1997"

ReplyDeletethat shis' boosted as fk'
this car is awesome on a whole different level
ReplyDelete@@Anonymous, this one in the video, which he is talking about..is still boosted...don't be retarded before you post a comment.
ReplyDeleteAs my good friend Scott pointed out on Facebook, the NA code can often throw people off. Typically however, when referring to a normally-aspirated automobile, people will use N/A as opposed to NA.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, it seems "that shis' boosted as fk'" :P
Anybody else notice he is not wearing gloves... Here is WA we are required to wear gloves and long sleeve shirts at track events, at least the ones I attend. All the more reason to move to Cali :)
ReplyDeleteTimTim's obviously been driving with the local Alfa club. I respect their rules...never know when one of those old italian cars will just burst into weber fed flames!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fucking awesome Miata! Does it have a 6-speed transmission swap, or are my eyes deceiving me?
ReplyDeleteIt does have a 6-speed, its my 1990.
ReplyDeleteHere is the build thread.
