With improved weather conditions and most teams having swapped their drivers, todays test session at the Jerez Circuit saw Mark Webber finish the day atop the time sheets, with Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button finishing second and third, respectively. Webber, who last season was plagued with late race difficulties, hopes to have a go at the championship this year, as his Renault powered RB6 has proven fast in nearly every winter test session thus far. Finishing the day a mere 0.816 seconds off the pace of Webber was the Ferrari F10 of Fernando Alonso, who, having also struggled much of last season, hopes to collect another driver's championship, this time with the help of the Scuderia.
