Drifting is not a new scene in Malaysia, and attracts a lot of fans whenever there are competitions or shows going on. The event was sponsored by The Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) with FX Open Asia, supported by Feinto-D.

KBS FX Drift Challenge pits some of the best local drifters, one against another in a tightly contested tandem battle. The competition is intense and the fans enjoyed it a lot.

In the expert category final, Fazreen Ismail from Team FX Open Asia defeated Alvin Lau from Team Bridgestone Malaysia to take 1st place. Mohd Riduan a.k.a Wan Boss from the Feinto-D Drift Team took 3rd place ahead of Zulfikar. Nortaufiq from Feinto-D Drift Team won the novice category.

Despite finishing in 2nd place, Ivan Lau is definitely the crowd's favourite with his aggressive style. Lots of smoke and superb angle!

Zulfikar took 4th in the expert category.
