Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the Lotus Damon is sitting in can't be a 49. Graham is at the wheel of a BRM, and the 49 was conceived when Graham drove for Team Lotus.

ReplyDeleteEither way, I can't believe people actually used to drive those things! 150mph+ sitting between fuel tanks with no restraints with the rollover capability of a toothpick...yikes.
ReplyDeleteGraham hated that Damon got into racing! He started on bikes and Graham hated that slightly more, then suddenly he's cars. Still not happy...
