DREAM JOB // MARK HALES: WRITER, RACER & PUBLISHER

Racing drivers are not people I typically envy. A lot of work goes into a racing campaign. A lot of blood, sweat and tears. And as far as I am concerned, I have enough hard work in front of me. That said, I do however envy the life of one Mark Hales.

An established writer, race driver and publisher, Hales has distinguished himself by driving nearly every form of racing car ever produced. As a contributor to the Daily Telegraph’s Weekend Motoring section, Hales has established himself amongst the motoring press. He also contributes to Evo magazine and Octane, where he is chief Track Tester. Hales also co-wrote the book Into the Red with Pink Floyd drummer and known motor racing nut, Nick Mason.
