2010 DAKAR RALLY // STAGE 14: SAINZ TAKES HOME THE WIN

Two minutes and twelve seconds is all that separated Volkswagen drivers Carlos Sainz and Nasser Al-Attiyah as the checkered flag waved for the 2010 Dakar Rally yesterday afternoon. Sainz, who had maintained a small but comfortable lead through much of the rally, was able to fend off the attack of Al-Attiyah, who took home the stage win, and claim the overall victory in the car class.
