2010 DAKAR RALLY // NEARLY FINISHED: STAGE 13 HIGHLIGHTS

BMW driver Stephane Peterhansel collected another stage win yesterday, beating the Volkswagen of Nasser Al-Attiyah across the line. The stage win for Peterhansel moved him to fourth overall, some two hours off the pace of overall leader, Carlos Sainz.

With only one stage remaining, it appears the 2010 Dakar Rally belongs to Carlos Sainz. But with a second place finish in stage 13, Al-Attiyah is now just 2:48 off the pace of his VW teammate.
