A second car is being brought to the track this year. In its debut race, the 2008 BMW M3 promises to turn heads in ES with its bright orange paint scheme and stunning performance. Both cars have been tuned by Miller Performance and prepared by local runoffs winner, Andy Pearson of Specialty Engineering, the team at The BMW Store and Apex Speed Technology.

This year’s driver line-up includes competitors from many pro and club series. Drivers on the team have competed in: Grand-AM, MX-5 Cup, Star Mazda, Honda Michelin, SCCA Runoffs, ICSCC, NASA and various CACC series.

The Children’s Charities Race Team is a group of local professional and semi-professional racers who raise funds for the Children’s Wish and BC Children’s Hospital Foundations. Since 2008, the Children’s Charities Grand Prix raised over $60,000. CCRT is a not-for-profit corporation. Partial proceeds from all racing efforts are donated to the charities.
