With the 2009 Formula One season all but over, the FIA has just released a revised version of their 2010 Formula One calendar. A total of 19 races are expected in 2010, with the addition of South Korea and the return of the Canadian Grand Prix. Monaco has been moved back a week, as to allow additional time for the teams to make the journey to Turkey, and as of right now the Brazilian Grand Prix will again be the final race of the season, with the sophomore Abu Dhabi Grand Prix scheduled for October 31st. While this schedule is certainly a revised copy, we expect a few more changes before the green flag waves in Bahrain.

It will be interesting to see if the British GP goes ahead - Donington looks like its failed to raise the required funds, and Silverstone are supposedly holding out for a longer fixed term for hosting the event than just one year as a stop gap.
ReplyDeleteDonington must be wishing it hadn't entered into the game at the moment, with the MotoGP now being scheduled for Silverstone in June, its not only lost the opportunity to host the GP but has also lost its main bike event as well.
