IN CASE YOU MISSED IT // LAST LAP BATTLE @ ALMS FINALE

The last lap battle between Corvette Racing’s C6.R and Flying Lizard’s Porsche 911 GT3 RSR is by far some of the best racing we have seen this season. Heading into the American Le Mans Series finale at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, the battle for the LMP1 title was all but a wrap, with David Brabham and Scott Sharp needing only to finish 30% of the race in order to claim the title. But in the GT2 class, it appeared as though Jörg Bergmeister was going to have a fight on his hands if he wanted to take home not only the GT2 championship, but the race win at Laguna Seca.
